American Samoa Council of Arts, Culture & Humanities Concludes 48th Holiday Music Festival

FAGATOGO, American Samoa – The American Samoa Council of Arts, Culture & Humanities successfully concluded the final night of Christmas Caroling for the 48th Holiday Music Festival, bringing together people from across the island in a joyful celebration of music, faith, and the spirit of Christmas.

 

The evening was filled with blessings, joy, and holiday cheer as numerous groups gathered for a night of caroling and fellowship. The festivities were attended by Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula and First Lady Dr. Lois Pula, along with other honorary guests and the community who enjoyed the performances and shared in the celebration.

The invocation was delivered by Brother Justin Westerlund of the Satala Seventh Day Adventist Church, offering a meaningful opening and setting an atmosphere of gratitude and unity for the evening. Participating groups from around the island included Alofa Tunoa Pentecostal Church, Pava’ia’i Catholic Church, Leone Midkiff Elementary School Faculty and Staff, the Fagatogo Blues Rugby Club, and many others, all coming together to spread holiday cheer through song and dance.

 

During the program, Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula delivered remarks expressing sincere gratitude and appreciation to all participating groups. He emphasized the true meaning of the season, and applauded each performance for encouraging everyone to reflect and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the reason for the season.

 

Sincere appreciation is extended to the American Samoa Council of Arts, Culture & Humanities Director Ammon Fepuleai, his dedicated team and staff, and all who have contributed and made the 48th Holiday Music Festival a success. The Festival concluded on a joyful note, uniting communities in the spirit of the season and extending warm holiday wishes to all.
